Description: This park is the largest in the Marathon County Park System, comprised of 2,050 acres of woodland peninsula on the north shore of the 7,000 acre Big Eau Pleine Reservoir. Park facilities include: two rustic campgrounds with a total of 106 campsites, three boat launches, picnic areas with play structures, a swimming beach with changehouse, several open-sided and one enclosed shelter, nine miles of hiking/biking trails (5.2 miles of which are open to horse use in the summer). The majority of the park in undeveloped woodland that supports many wildlife species, including white-tail deer, black bear, raccoon squirrel, and partridge. Numerous opportunities for nature study exist, including a state scientific area featuring old growth hardwood forest.

Description: Lake DuBay Shores is located on beautiful Lake DuBay, 6,500 acre lake with excellent boating, fishing, swimming , water skiing, and canoeing. Improved swimming beach with boat launch and docks and canoe rentals. Lake DuBay Shores is a family oriented campground with children's playground, planned activities, shuffleboard, horseshoe pits, volleyball, nature trails. Recreation hall with juke box, skill games and pool tables. A Camp Store and Gift Shop are located on premises.

Description: Careful architectural planning has retained the secluded charm and stately dignity of this 78 acre park. A unique forest of lofty white pine shelters both trails and a 35-unit campground with electricity, showers, and a dump station at the west end of the park. The fairgrounds area, still occupied annually be the 125 year-old Wisconsin Valley Fair, sees year-round use with trade shows, auctions, art fairs, 4th of July celebration, and Badger State Winter Games. Broad picnic areas with well over 200 tables are grouped adjacent to grills, playgrounds, and within walking distance of the wading pool, miniature train, carousel, and the Marathon Junction concession (open year round). Generous parking areas are located within convenient walking distances of all facilities. Virtually all of the park buildings and facilities are available for private rentals.

Description: Millions of years ago, Rib Mountain was formed by the glacial flow during the last ice age. Today, Rib Mountain is the third hight point in Wiscosnin (1,940 ft. above sealevel) and offers visitors a great natural experience. The lower campground has 30 sites and 10 additional sites are located in the upper area. Serveral picnic areas and shelters are located within the park, along with concessions and playground. Over 7 miles of trails provide scenic vistas, or enjoy the view from the 60 ft. observation tower. Other observation desks are located throught the park as well.
